The Price of "Priceless" . . .

"The death of a dog is the price of a priceless possession."

Jo Ann Moody, Upland Bird Outfitter, Down East Maine.

I hunted grouse with Jo Ann some years ago now. She had a lovely and exceptionally intimate rapport with her beautifully trained English Springer spaniels, and they lived to please her. A splendid thing to watch and hunt behind, wood and field.

(I'm not totally sure where and with whom this quote originated, but I heard it first from Jo Ann, and have never heard or tracked it down elsewhere.) Wherever, it just about sums it all.
